In the shared lounge, you can enjoy Japanese cultural experiences like calligraphy and origami, and meet people from all over the world. Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.

The cafè downstairs was delightful and had a lovely view. The coffee and tea were incredible. You can even eat your own food there. All the bathrooms are shared but that's no problem at all. The price was fantastic for what we got. We also enjoyed talking to other guests. The view from the lookout above the shrine is also spectacular.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the place had a family like atmosphere. Both the breakfast and diner options were delicious and well priced. The fact that there’s also a bar, which also some locals visited only added to the experience. Especially if you can speak a little japanese, you van mix with the locals. The location is convenient, as it is close to a station the peace memorial park, the castle and there is a 7 eleven just around the corner. I’ve been to dozens of hostels in Japan and this one is definitely in the top 3!
Lovely host, quick and easy booking, sizeable flat to yourself with basic amenities and good price
Great hostel, the staff was great, very kind and gave some great recommendations for my stay, thanks a lot! It has everything you need to have a great time in Hiroshima!
Hisaya was a great host, made me feel welcome and had a really nice vibe!
This was a great hostel to stay at as a solo traveller. Met some great people and wound up going to a baseball game which wasn't even a thought on my itinerary! Amenities were clean and the capsules had plenty of space. Mattresses were comfortable and the rooms were a good temperature to sleep.
A great hostel maintaining a traditional Japanese feel. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Complimentary welcome drink and bar area were a great place to meet others and socialise. Location is good with a station nearby and walkable distance to main sites of Hiroshima. Great restaurant recommendations too. Definitely recommend
Great hostel on the Shimanami Kaido. We were 3 persons and had a 4 capsule room to ourself! There is a nice washing machine / dryer and frozen food vending machine. Everything was super clean and comfy.
This property was exceptional. Well appointed, excellent quality, well equipped, great location and a lovely, lovely host who served us with a complimentary breakfast every morning.
Larger than average room with very comfy beds, decent breakfast as part of the price. Less than 5 minutes drive from the JR station and with adequate free parking, this hotel was a hidden gem. Although the staff spoke no English there was nothing that Google Translate and a smile couldn't overcome. We were the only westerners in the hotel, seems like this one's a locals-only secret, but it shouldn't be.
