Terrassiga Munroeisland Backwater Homestay asub Kerala piirkonnas Munroe saarel. We loved staying at Vijeesh’s homestay. His entire family was welcoming and provided delicious meals, interesting tours and entertainment (adorable niece performances). We truly enjoyed our canoeing through the canals at sunrise and sunset. Don’t miss this stop on your visit to Kerala.

We had three nights planned in Munnar, booked Soly's Homestay for the first night, and ended up staying longer for the confort of the place (we got a room with beautiful view) and for the AMAZING BREAKFAST prepared by Soly. Soly and her husband's hospitality and kindness are beyond every experience we had in India.

After the initial hustle and chaos of India, staying at Mountainview Homestay is a welcome place to unwind. Asfal and his friends are friendly and easy to talk to, and they give great tips on what to see and do in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. Waking up to a view of the green trees, with a cup of good coffee is pure bliss. It’s incredibly peaceful, with the occasional playful troop of monkeys on the roof to break the silence, peeking curiously at you as they play. In short, the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into colorful, bustling India. P.S. Asfal also helped us with the next leg of our trip. He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

A great location close to all the restaurants and interesting places, a very nice and friendly owner (we had some interesting conversations), a very nice and cute design of the place. And amazing Kerala breakfast, thank you so much!
