In a city where very little is transparent when it comes to the tourism industry , this was an extremely welcome change, and I am so happy I stayed here. Perhaps for the first time in the country I had a spotless toilet that really was easy to keep clean and dry. The balcony gave the room a very spacious feel and the room in itself was very large without any clutter. Everything had a feel of being new and painted - perhaps it was all new. Extremely good stay. Also its a walkable distance away from the temples and monasteries, but just far removed enough to avoid the noise and cacophony of Bodh Gaya. There is a bit of greenery and open fields around that does help.

Hiljuti renoveeritud Marina Home Stay asub Bodh Gayas, 3,3 km kaugusel Mahabodhi templist ja 2,4 km kaugusel Bodh Gaya bussijaamast. Everything was great about Marina Homestay and ended up staying for many days. It’s a nice place in a spacious open field, though the most impressive thing was the staff and owners they are an inspirational family and I felt warmly welcomed which was a delightful surprise. There was group from Thailand staying there who were also very friendly and welcoming too which all contributed to my stay and wholesome experience of Bodh Gaya after 20 years since my first visit there… Marina home stay is a little away from the main Maha Bodhi temple but this means that it’s a quiet peaceful place and there are some local temples close by like the 21 Tara Devi temple which is exquisite. So really Marina home stay was perfect for me and well recommended. Thank you 👁️🙏👁️

We arrived in Gaya on the train after 3am. Sumit the owner waited for us to arrive and helped us navigate with our tuk tuk driver from the station. The location is walking distance to restaurants and temples. Room was.perfectly clean, and the AC was great! I would recommend for single travelers or couples. Very sweet family, which make you feel welcomed and help you in every possible way. Very clean rooms. There is kitchen with fridge you can use and washing machine.

Laste mänguväljaku ja aiavaatega Senamura Yoga Ashram Guesthouse asub Bihari piirkonnas Bodh Gayas, 1,8 km kaugusel Mahabodhi templist. If you want to experience the local culture while supporting a good cause, this is the place to do so! We felt very welcome in the family and as we visited during the festival we got taken along to all the ceremonies the festival entails. This was a truly unique experience which we are very happy to have been a part of. Furthermore the guesthouse is next to the school it supports so you can easily pay a visit there too. The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.

It was very interesting to communicate! There was a small problem with hot water, but it was quickly resolved. Hot water was all the time!

Jõevaatega Ansari House asub Bodh Gayas, 2,6 km kaugusel Mahabodhi templist ja Bodh Gaya bussijaamast. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kodumajutusel on terrass. I had the most wonderful time at Ansari house. The hosts showed me endless kindness and treated me like a part of their big family - I spent 5 days at their house and even celebrated my birthday with them. The house lies in a quiet area a 30-40 min walk from the city centre and there’s a view of Mahabodhi temple from the terrace. It’s the perfect place to relax, go for walks or even a run and explore the sights in Bodh Gaya and the surroundings. You can even go on a day trip to Nalanda, Rajgir and Dungeshwari which they can organise for you. I stayed in a double room with balcony and view of Mahabodhi temple. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the cute diy decorations. There is no A/C but the fan was sufficient for me, you can lock the room and you can probably get a second sheet if you ask. The family cooks delicious food with fresh vegetables from their own garden. You can either have what they are having or choose from the menu. The vegetarian Biryani and the banana pancakes were fantastic. I had an amazing stay at Ansari House and enjoined spending time with the lovely family! Thank you :)

Light and sparkle clean rooms, very comfortable with anything you need for a restful sleep. Everyone was very welcoming and brought in a really nice energy to the guest house.
