If you want to know what is the true Georgian experience, best wine and best food, you should definitely come to this place. The hosts were super helpful and the food was the most delicious in the country. The dog Bubu was the best boy and the cat kept lovely company during the dinner - 10/10. Also, it’s a great experience to see the winemaking process from up close. Spectacular views from the terrace of the room. The backyard is extremely spacious yet cosy and we wish we could have spent some more days in this truly amazing place.

My favorite stay in Georgia. Amazing accomodation, super tasty food, cozy beds, super clean, wonderful people. Would come back any time. Thank you for a great time!

This place is a hidden gem, I could find other words -- it's in lower Svanetia that is not so well known by tourists and the natural surroundings are absolutely mesmerising: authentic beautiful village, walks in the mountains and woods, and the hosts are so warm and caring and helpful. The room and the house are very very solid, well equipped, nicely designed, it was a real great pleasure, we absolutely want to come back !

Such a beautiful and cozy place. I had difficult finding it but that might be a me issue. I think this place is perfect for the spring, summer, and fall. Might be too chilly for November and beyond though.

Guest house udziro está en Oni y cuenta con jardín. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Everything! It has very comfortable beds, a nice bathroom and then a kitchen provided outside with a beautiful space for eating. We stayed here before hiking to Udziro lake and it was perfect! The family is so lovely and we couldn’t recommend it more!

Newly renovated "hotel" style rooms with A.C. The bathroom is close and has a nice, modern shower. There were still some ongoing renovations during our stay but all the facilities (bathroom, outdoor kitchen) were unaffected and everyone we met was very friendly.

Guesthouse Sumaisha está en Gulida y tiene jardín y salón de uso común. We had a nice double room with a nice private terrace. While far from luxurious, the room was very clean. Hospitality galore with a spectacular breakfast. fully equipped kitchen is available for the guests to you. We found the place to be really nice and enjoyed our stay.

Lomtadze Family Wine Hotel, en Ambrolauri, tiene jardín y zona de barbacoa. Este alojamiento ofrece cocina compartida y salón de uso común, además de wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Habitación muy limpia, con aire acondicionado, y nevera, cama cómoda. Entorno maravilloso con vistas a la montaña, sobre bodega de vino familiar que ha cosechado numerosos premios internacionales. Atención inigualable por parte de Tariel y su tía, con cata de vino y tour por la bodega y viñedos. ¡¡Muy recomendable!!

The Lodging: The Gentry House is located in a beautiful and idyllic location in Racha. Top-notch views, and a wonderful soundscape, especially in the morning (a diversity of birds calling, the gentle sound of cowbells twinkling across the hillside, etc.). The overall estate was unlike anything else we experienced in Georgia, and was a real highlight. Misha's family history is fascinating and several incredible artifacts from the 19th century remain. The room was especially nice -- beautifully furnished and well appointed. 10/10. The Host:  The only thing better than the lodging was the Host/Owner, Misha.  He was interesting, fun and very generous.  The latter is an understatement in the extreme.  My baggage, which did not arrive on the flight to Tblisi, was for all intents and purposes lost...I hadn't received it in over nine days and no one knew where it was.  Misha decided to get to the bottom of it, and 50 phone calls later (no exaggeration), my bag was finally in my possession.  It was incredible. A true hero!  If I could give him 100 out of 10 I would.
