Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Can Micalet. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We felt very welcomed by all the staff, who were all very wonderful! The location is a dream, less than a 7 minute walk to the port and there was a wonderful cafe just in front of the accommodation with excellent food! We cannot wait to come back and stay again

Set in the centre of the small island of Formentera, Hostal Illes Pitiüses is a charming family-run guest house in the town of San Fernando. It features a bar and restaurant. Need to say Formentera is much better than Ibiza if you seek for anything else than alcohol and clubs. Need to say, that Hostal Illes Pitiüses is located in the best possible place of Formentera - not far away from beaches, not too close to them - close to restaurants and shops but still avoiding the loudness of villages closer to port, the village during evening was simply charming, we enjoyed the view from balcony and the staff was very helpful, there is a car park area in the back of the building so there is no problem with the car (note the parking places in front of building are only for 15 mins and we saw some tickets being handed)

The hotel has one of the best locations on Formentera. It’s beautiful and simple, and right by the sea. You fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It has all you need. Breakfasts are very pleasant. The owner and staff is very nice. Why would you opt for huge, impersonal hotels - if you can get this very humane, simple “sun & sea” experience. Just perfect!
