Our stay at the Atlantis Inn in Castel Gandolfo was fantastic and a highlight of our seven week holiday in Europe. This small hill town on the outskirts of Rome was relaxing and a great way to wind down after a full on and intense holiday. The room was very spacious with excellent facilities and the view from the terrace to the lake was amazing. Surrounding the hotel is a great selection of welcoming cafes, bars and restaurants. Don't miss the Gardens of Villa Barbarini. Well worth a visit. Our host was very accommodating, storing our luggage on departure day, with the local shuttle transporting us to the railway station for our journey to Rome and the international airport.

I stayed there for a night. It was one of the cleanest guest house I've ever been to - it was like a 5-star hotel service. Exceptional tidiness and a really comfy bed and pillows, I had a great sleep. The quality of the items (shower, coffee machine, hairdryer) and furniture in the room was great. The communication and instructions were easy. Easiest 5-star ever. The airport bus station to CIA and the train station to Rome are 10-15 minutes away by walk. The bus ride to the CIA is only 10min and the train to Rome takes 15 minutes. It's dead easy. P.S. A bit irrelevant, but I really loved the sliding door to the bathroom.

We had the most amazing host, Silvia. She was very understanding of our situation and agreed to an early check in and later check out. She was very prompt in her responses. She also checked in on us via WhatsApp which I thought was very sweet of her. Concerning the apartment- it had everything we needed. She even supplied more things for breakfast. The tea and coffee were excellent. The balcony was lovely and often sat there to eat our meals and feel the beautiful Roman breeze. Everything from clean towels, essential toiletries, Smart Tv in each room (well air conditioned rooms), comfy and clean beddings, enough wardrobe space, blinds that meant we could enjoy a good nights sleep without any day light disturbance. The vicinity itself was calm and safe and very residential but had shops and restaurants very close, including a very lovely Catholic Church- where we attended Holy Mass several times. It is also close to the train and bus station and there is a direct bus from there to the airport- that was so convenient. No need to spend on unnecessary Taxi trips to and from the airport. It was like a little haven we found in the heart of Rome.⭐️🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
