Everything was perfect. We were in a little bubble surrounded by nature. Fresh food, pure air, nice cooking class. The family makes everything to feel you like home. I spend a beautiful time with them!!! Definitely recommend it!

Very beautiful location, superb property, very welcoming owner, very helpful, friendly team. very healthy, hygienic, and mouthwatering, delicious home-cooked food, excellent local tea, and snacks. There are lots of places to see around. It's a proper homestay, with a great owner and food, very nice hospitality 👍 Each room has private toilets, and all are very clean and hygienic, a great interior, exterior and well maintained clean place, well maintained property. I will definitely  come here again,👍👍👍

Everything was amazing. The staff were just so incredibly kind, especially Mukesh, very patient, reliable and informative. Location is a bit far from Munnar, which may as well be an advantage. Breakfast is delicious. Dormitories and showers are hard to beat. Great place for meeting other travelers and gathering a hiking party (I recommend Chokramudi and Meesapulimala). Just one of the best hostel experiences of my life. I'm so spoiled now... Thanks guys!

The property is perfectly located and rooms have the most amazing views. Thomas and Sarah are exceptional hosts, they made about everything possible starting from dinner, organizing an Ayurveda massage and a beautiful hiking trip into the tea plantations with Ganesh, our joyous and knowledgeable guide. Absolutely beautiful surroundings, so peaceful. Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the home cooked food was lovely. 30 min walk to bus stop (or you can catch an auto for 50 rupees) - from there, you can catch the bus to Munnar, which takes about 50 mins.

    We loved our stay at Maliyeckal Homestay, such a peaceful spot. The host family were so kind and helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay and enjoy Munnar. Breakfast and dinners were great. About 10 minutes walk from the bus stop so easy to get in and out of Munnar once you get the hang of it.

    Thomas and his wife were great hosts that care a lot about their homestay and their guest. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony, the cleanliness of the room and the homemade breakfasts. Thomas also organized some trips and a massage for us, so we were able to experience a lot. Thank you!
