Loved the room and the pool/spa. The bed was super comfy and we had an amazing view of the mountains from our room. All the facilities were great and very clean, we have stayed at the Hilton Lake Taupo before and will definitely be back again!

Cute and cosy cottage on a rural property. Welcomed by the owner (who lives on the property) Nicely furnished with a rural Hamptons feel, comfortable Queen bed, couple of little velvet chairs and tiny dining table. We loved the outside deck area and the thoughtful touches of homemade chocolate brownies, biscuits and continental breakfast supplies.

In advance of arrival we received a message from Hilton asking us if we wanted to upgrade to a junior suite which we said we did want to do. When we arrived we were told there were no suite upgrades available - I find the concept of offering an upgrade and then not being able to deliver it somewhat disappointing. Room we were originally allocated was in a section of the hotel being refurbished (see below) however the staff responded well to our complaints and moved us to a new room for our second night. Swimming pool area was excellent.

The location, the presentation, the comfort, the host are amazing. Very well done. The town of Pokeno is beautiful and this little hidden gem is totally worth it. We are definitely return guests. It's extremely handy to Hampton downs and Meremere Drag strip.

Loved the double glazing in the room - very cozy at night. Spacious. All we needed was provided for dining/ cooking gear, good supply of hot drink selection and towel service were superb. Cleanliness was good and I’m super fussy in that aspect. Loved the proximity to pools and spa, Hilton Hotel restaurant, other attractions and Taupō township.

Beautiful location with a gorgeous view. Felt very welcoming. Loved the spa tub under the canopy of fragrant flowers.

Location was good for the wedding at the Hilton and not too far from town. The apartment was spacious enough and quiet enough for the 3 of us. The beds were a bit on the soft side and pillow a bit on the hard side but minor inconveniences.

Fantastic check in, all the staff were very friendly! the beds were extremely comfy and we had a little fridge for our snacks. The pools were great to relax in after the road trip and the sunset was amazing! We also booked dinner at the Hilton which was super yummy! It was such a great trip, and only a 3 min walk into town

close to the hot pools & Hilton Hotel dining. Our room had a nice view of the lake. Warm & cosy.
