We normally are hotel stayers, not B & Bs, we had just stayed at multiple hotels, the Hilton, Peppers, and Copthorne, so we were a little hesitant about a B & B This B & B was absolutely exceptional !!!! The owners were amazing. They were friendly, accommodating, and just all round catered for everything a traveller would want. The location and views were also 10/10. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The Hamptons is ideally located, just a short walk from the centre of town but facing right onto the bay. It was easy to get to all of the local points of interest and attractions. Patrick and Mary-Clare were extremely knowledgeable hosts about their town and were very keen to give honest feedback on places to visit in the town. Breakfast was always freshly prepared, great quality and tasty. The room itself was extremely clean, well appointed and with high quality fittings and a very comfy bed.

Everything feels organized and premium. Very comparable to Hilton Auckland but a lot cheaper.

Hilton quality, easy access to the CBD through the park. Also, having room service with the Hilton clubsandwhch made gluten-free was so wonderful. The room was very comfortable and the bed very good.

Interior has interesting collection of period curios to maintain character of property. included breakfast was very good. bathroom and shower spotless. easy walking to local restaurants and shops. free parking
