The property owner and staff were welcoming and the property is ideally located near a shopping center and not too far from the beach front. We loved the breakfast we got in the morning. Overall a pleasant stay.

The coffee is excellent. Dirk is an amazing host.

The hosts and the service staff were really helpful and friendly. We are definitely coming back and taking up those surfing lessons for sure!

The owners, Sharl and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful offering tips for places to visit. What stood out to my wife and I were the excellent breakfast on offer. Jennifer made an English breakfast, but also offered an excellent omelette and at other times crepes. The garden at Mandalay Beach Guest House is so beautiful, but so is the whole property! We would recommend this Guest House for those looking for a quiet vacation spot that is within a 10 minute walk from the beach, and also close to Cape Town. Our stay of 12 nights were absolutely enjoyable, we will miss the hospitality and graciousness of Sharl and Jennifer.

You can play darts at the guest house. Stiana and Paul made me feel like home. They're incredible hosts and the place is wonderful. Everything was spotlessly clean, in great condition. The view from my window was worth extending my stay. Getting in and out was easy, the area seemed perfectly safe.
