Only 200 metres from the Sava River, Hiša Aleš is set in the centre of Breg ob Savi. The hotel is situated at a fantastic location, felt very close to staying in the countryside. The build is extremely stylish and it shows in the way the interiors have been put up. The breakfast menu was sumptuous and truly deserves a mention. The staff had been amazingly helpful in assisting to our requests. Although our stay was very short, we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I am definitely going to recommend this hotel to all friends visiting this part of Slovenia.

A last-minute booking turned out to be a hidden gem for someone who needed to get away and enjoy nature and the mountains, just a 40–50 minute drive from the capital. A stunning view on all over Slovenia, a big car park and very friendly and helpful hostess. The place is calm and quiet, with lots of walking and hiking options in nature, and the air is amazingly fresh. Delicious homemade breakfast with homemade syrups and lemonades for good start of a day, and fine local wine at the evening to round off a good day on a table on a mountainside.

Jagodic Garni Hotel is located in the village of Vopovlje, 3 km from the airport and 18km from the city of Ljubljana. Everything was excellent. The entire house is stunning, filled with a fairy tale atmosphere. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is rich and delicious, especially the ratatouille, which was incredibly tasty. They also provide shuttle services.

Featuring an on-site bar and a restaurant serving traditional cuisine, Guest House Bakhus is located in the village of Žerjavka, 100 metres from Sava River. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access. It was a perfect stay for our family, very clean and organized, all we needed, excellent breakfast fresh and delicious, we recommend it warmly. Excellent wi-fi, beds, parking, we slept with an open window and didn't worry about the mosquitoes as we had a net at the window, fresh air.

Only 4 km from Ljubljana Airport, the newly built garni Hotel Azul is located in the suburbs of Kranj, a 15-minute drive to Ljubljana's centre. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are provided. I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially when the young lady offered to cook fresh scrambled eggs for me and my girlfriend, that was very kind. I also appreciate the room, it was huge and the bathtub was very comfortable
