Only three rooms so it felt very cozy and like a homestay. Beautiful place, far enough from downtown to be in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to walk. Free coffee, and water, kitchen to use, toiletries instead the room. Safe parking in front on the street. Pet friendly! One of our best stays in Central America, I hope we can be back in day ❤️

The Wabi Sabi is a recently renovated guest house in León, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. The property features garden views. The guest house provides inner courtyard views, a year-round outdoor pool, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We loved our stay at Wabi Sabi. The staff were all super friendly and we felt at home right away - they also have a cat and a kitten who were adorable (we miss them already). We found it to be more like a guest house than a hostel, it’s nice and quiet and a good breakfast is provided each morning - prepared whenever you want. The common areas are comfortable and there’s a pool which was great for afternoon dips in the León heat. The kitchen is really well equipped, it felt like cooking at home and there’s water provided for free. The hostel is located in a quieter part of town but still less than 10 minutes to walk to the centre - we liked this as it meant it wasn’t too noisy at night. We would really recommend staying here.

The area is popular for walking tours, and free use of bicycles is available at the guest house. Super friendly staff, they helped us a lot in finding medication since our Spanish wasn't very good. Everyone at the hostel was very warm and attentive. The hostel is very beautiful and has great facilities. Highly recommended!

This place is a beautiful oasis in a quiet, close to town location. Staff are super nice, the pool is beautiful and refreshing, the restaurant was great, especially the hot chocolate. The rooms have all the basics and the most convenient floor for having a pool just outside, perfect 👌 I can't recommend highly enough

The room was so clean and they gave us fresh towels and clean bedding each night (we stayed for 2 nights). The shared bathroom felt more like a private one and was only shared with one other room. The location was great with a short walk to the center and lots of restaurants close by. The owners were wonderful and welcoming. We had to leave at 2am for our shuttle and they kept the door open so we could leave easily.

Everything is new and clean, big kitchen and outdoor social area plus really lovely staff/owners that will go out of their way to help you have the best experience while visiting Las Penitas. Highly recommended!
