Steve and his family's warm hospitality and presence was the good thing there, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed at this place. This place may be good for bag packers but surely not close to perfect holiday stay for a family.

I had a room with a sea-view and terrace, extremely beautiful. Also the tours proposals (snorkeling and boat trip) were very professional and quite cheap (comparing with other places in Mauritius). Special thanks to reception staff - I had few hours after the check-out and before my flight, they proposed me to take shower after the snorkeling tour, very nice of them. The breakfast was also delicious and with nice view! There is public beach and couple of good local restaurants nearby also. This location is definitely suitable for slow and relaxing vacation!

Chez Henri está en Pointe d'Esny, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Pointe d'Esny y a 4 km de Estación de autobús de Mahebourg. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y wifi gratis. Small B&B, one of the owners told us it has just three rooms for guests. Our room was huge and beautiful and had two balconies - we liked to call it the Val Kilmer room because of a painting on the wall… Lots of interesting woodworking and cool features all over the property. Bed was comfortable. Shower not the hottest or best, but it was fine. Great breakfast and convenient location close to the airport and walking distance to the public beach, on a quiet part of the island. Overall we really loved our stay at Chez Henri and would happily stay there again, highly recommend.
