The accommodation offered a true taste of a traditional Japanese home, with a ground floor room featuring a cozy tatami mattress, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom and shower—all exclusively for my use. It was the perfect blend of authenticity and convenience. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with food, which made settling in even easier. What truly set this place apart, however, was the outstanding hospitality. Koha-san, the host, went above and beyond in every way. Not only was the house spotlessly cleaned every day, but Koha-san also offered incredibly generous support throughout my stay. He drove me to the Catholic Church so I could attend Mass, took me to visit the beautiful shrine of Our Lady of Akita, Seitai Hoshikai brought me to the relaxing Akita Onsen Plaza, and even dropped me off at Akita Station—all free of charge. He also gave excellent suggestions for the best Hanami spots, ensuring I experienced the cherry blossoms at their finest. His kindness and dedication made my visit truly unforgettable. I highly recommend AnBeeNa guest house to anyone visiting Akita. Whether you’re looking for peace, culture, or comfort, this place offers it all. The owner was amazing and thoughtful, and was eager to help with anything. they lend bicycles for free to ride to the town and also helped me call a taxi to the station. The bed was really comfortable compared to other places in japan (been here for 3 weeks now). There is also a kitchen with everything you need.

It was a shared house but there are separate entrances so it is like having a two bedroom home to yourself.
