The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Although we had an issue with the toilet, the host gave us a different room to ensure that we still have a nice stay.

The Giantess in the Mountain art installation is within 500 metres. Reykjavík city centre is a 40-minute drive away. For the early flight, the location is very convenient. Also, the room equipment is very new. The room provides a simple kitchen with a microwave that can heat some foods.

Keflavik International Airport is 20 km away. Everything was clean and comfortable to stay. We will recommend this place to everyone. Very closed by Blue Lagoon, volcano for hiking.

Nice and clean place with everything we needed. Good quality for the price. Convenient location close to the airport and to the Blue Lagoon. The host family was very nice.
