The pousada is located close to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, so it’s perfect for participating in tours. The quality of the daily breakfast was good. The best part of my stay was the host Carla. She was the sweetest person, took care of everything (organizing tours, ordering food, etc.) for me and spoke English really well.

The location is a bit far from the downtown area, about a 25 minutes walk, but very quiet at night. Which is really great if one desires a good rest after the day activities. Paulo was very kind to assist me in my travel visits and quite patient with my poor Portuguese ! Highly recommended for a cozy and simple pousada for a relaxing holiday.
