The Mango guest house was an incredible and authentic experience in Elephantine Island. The staff, the facilities and the settings were fantastic. The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

King Mina Nubian House ofrece alojamiento en Asuán. Este alojamiento, que cuenta con terraza solárium, está muy cerca de Museo de Nubia, de Kitchener's Island y de Unfinished Obelisk. Todo excelente. La hospitalidad de la gente lo mejor.

Room has everything you need, with comfortable soft beds, fan/airconditioning (if needed, not for us in February) and a good working hot shower (bathroom is small, but it works).

Nuba Heart está en Asuán, a 7,6 km de Mausoleo de Aga Khan, y ofrece vistas al jardín. El alojamiento está a unos 24 km de Kitchener's Island, a 25 km de Aswan High Dam y a 25 km de Museo de Nubia. The rooms where spacious and clean. I live a balcony and my room had that, i could open my balcony and see allt of the village. It was a quick walk to the ferry station and stores. Upon arrival Tamer send is a cab to gather all our belongings and bring us to the guest house. My children and his children played for hours. They didn’t want to leave. Daily we had breakfast and dinner at the guest house and it was delicious. We had a hard time finding a cheap ride home, Tamer was able to arrange a ride for us at a rate we could afford. If your looking for a safe space single or family, this is an awesome guest house to stay at. The picture below is the view as you approach the island.

La Terrace está en Asuán y ofrece alojamiento con zona de playa privada, salón de uso común y terraza frente a la playa, a 22 km de Mausoleo de Aga Khan. Mohammed was a very great host, we enjoyed our time here. Terrace view was perfect, car transfers were arranged even though we arrived past midnight. We have large luggages which Mohammed arranged for guys to carry for us from the Jetty to the homestay, that helped as there were many stairs. Before/After crossing the river though, you may have to figure out how to carry up the rest of the stairs on your own. Just a point to note as no review mentioned this. Still, overall experience was great!

Airkela Nuba Dool 2 tiene jardín, zona de playa privada, terraza y restaurante en Asuán. Rewa and her family were so kind and welcoming. Airkela guest house is conveniently located just a few metres from the ferry pier on Elephantine Island. The room was spotlessly clean, with an amazing view over the Nile. Breakfast was superb. We would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so special and helping us to arrange our onward travel. We won’t forget our stay with you.
