Everything was clean and the area is very quiet. The host is also very responsive and kind. She gave me recommendations about what to do in Ipoh. From here, you are at equal distance from temples/ mirror lake, the city center of Ipoh and the central bus station (all reachable using Grab for very affordable cost) I totally recommend this place !

Lovely cute clean room, spacious bathroom. Bed was comfy but is futon style so close to the ground - not an issue for us. Location was good, right onto the market, we had a room back off the street so can't comment on how noisy it could be closer to the street.

Very cute retro concept refurbished shop house (with cute BALCONIES )and ample space at common area (my room comes with direct access to the yard too!) Deal breaker was definitely the connecting cafe downstairs (they serve beer too until 11pm). Not to mention the location is just so near to everywhere! There are free bicycles for guests to ride around the historical town too.
