Very clean room, good fan, mosquito net in the windows, which makes it easy to sleep with a breeze, it is quite, good mattress and pillows, excellent big bathroom with hot shower, wifi works really well. Kitchen for use. Parking space in the garden. Very friendly couple. Definitely a very good place to stay at the beach, we can absolutely recommend it.

Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

I would recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers looking for a clean and comfortable base in Trimcomalee. Close to the Beach and next to the best Restaurant Mom's Kitchen, this place is a real gem. Rooms are super clean, good bed, good working shower and AC. The owner Prasanth is super friendly and takes such good care of all the stray cats and dogs in the area. He made it his life goal to take care for the animals nobody else is looking after, which makes him a true hero! At the place itself, there also are super cute dogs and cats that live there and it was a pleasure spending time with them. We hope to come back soon and would recommend everyone who comes to Trincomalee to spend your time here, you won't regret it! Ps: almost everything he earns he will use it to take stray animals to the vet, for food & medicine for the cats and dogs... So if you can, give him a nice tip so he can continue doing such beautiful work! ♥️

A perfect couple of days staying at this wonderful new property in Uppeveli. The room was very spacious and light, the mattress and bed were really comfortable, the bathroom is also wonderfully soacious with 2 very good showers. Beyond the bedrooms, there are plenty of more communal spaces (currently no seating, but you can easily take the chair from your bedroom out here) and a wonderful veranda surrounding the whole of the 1st floor. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to arrange tours with his contacts if you would like. Location wise, it is down a quiet lane just off the main road, making it easy to access yet remarkably peaceful. You can access the beach a 5 minute walk away, which is perfectly okay if you would like to go for a beach walk or watch a gorgeous sunrise with the locals out on their finishing boats. Beyond that, just a 5 minute Tuktuk ride away is Fernando’s bar, which has a lively beach bar feel, catering for any kind of food, with hammocks and sun loungers under the palms, and beach parties every night. 5 minutes in the other direction from the hotel is Trincomalee, allowing you to see the more cultural side of the area. All in all, this great new property is great value, in the ideal location to explore the areas easily, and with a host who bends over backwards to accommodate you- if you are looking for a place to stay near Trincomalee, this is the place to go.

One of the best accommodations we've stayed in in Sri Lanka. Rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable, and with plenty of shelves to organise your stuff. The manager also organised a bike and a tuk-tuk for us. Everything at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

    Central location....food outlets, bank atm, supermarket and train station close by. Also nice beach nearby which we did not visit due to lack of time. Basic but functional rooms in quiet environment. Host arranged tuk to rail station Rs 300. Overall pleasant stay and great value for money.

    Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, great location - practically on the beach. The owner is a great host, super helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Scooter rental available at the property. On our last evening we took a cooking class with the owners wife which was great. The food was tasty. Very good price as well. The owner also kindly arranged a taxi back to Negombo for us for an unbeatable price. Recommended.
