The Kerama Backpackers is really clean , kitchen, common room and bathrooms. The owner is a really nice person and as well his relatives, they provide a shuttle service to take you to the beautiful beaches of the island, where you can do many activities, it only takes less than 10 mins . The host was very friendly - he picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry terminal, and drove us to the beach during our stay. It's located in a quiet area away from other tourists but is still walkable (~25 min) from the main beach.

A fantastic place! Kuctcha Homestay has everything you need for a great stay. The location is perfect – close to all the main attractions, yet peaceful and quiet. The host is a kind lady who is a local from the island and she makes homemade meals if would like to eat at the guesthouse. The place is clean in traditional Japanese style. The bed was a comfortable high matras. There is a ice cream machine and a coffee machine are available and as well equipment for snorkeling or chilling at the beach. Definitely recommend this guesthouse if you love peace and nature. Also I like the homemade smoothie with sweet potato and sesame seeds. Would recommend to go to the Furuzamami beach at this island for lively corals and fishes.

Our stay at Kucha was one of the highlights of our 8 week trip. Takaka-san is a very helpfull and sweet host and great cook. The traditional Japanese house has everything you need from snorkel gear to beach towels to a washing machine. It's not so far from the port, we rented bicycles but the hills are quite steep so the bus would also be an option. We really wished we could stay longer because it felt like paradise! Also, Kiki the cat is very cute.

Everything was very nice. Located in the main village on Zamami, very close to restaurants and about 1.5 km from both biggest /nicest beaches. Room was spacious, clean, cozy and super comfy. Personeel was helpful, nice and no muzz no fuzz. After check out you can still use facilities of the guesthouse, like showers and wc. Breakfast is available and so are snorkeling tours.

the owner was really nice and explained everything. There's a cute outside izakaya right next to it where you can get food and drinks. It's close to the port and there's a nice outside area with microwave and everything where you can eat.
