Amazing. I loved the place with references to manga/anime everywhere in the house, great collection of pokemon cards 😅... Totsi is a super host, when I arrived he was preparing super yummy Dorayaki (Japanese pancakes with sweet bean paste) with the other travelers and invited me to join them 😋 After that we played card games till midnight. Close to the hostel there are several onsen opened until 2am with outdoor bath that are perfect for relaxing night bath. The facilities in the house were really good and everything was clean. The place was excellent value for money Thank you Totsi ! 🙏

1 of my fav accommodation during this trip. The twin room with private bathroom option's consider cheap if you count for price per person. The room also quite big. Bed is so comfy.

250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum.

Overall, it was a great experience/stay. The room was big and clean. The amenities in the room are more than sufficient, i.e., supplies, kitchen, bathroom, beds, dining table, air conditioning, etc. There are free entertainment options in the lobby, i.e., video games, comics, toys, etc. The drinks in the lobby are also free, i.e., coffee, cocoa, juice, soda. You can also use their bikes and umbrellas for free. Parking is likewise free. The staff member at the reception desk was very helpful and he can speak English well. The location is great, it is across a beach park and just on the main road, with Don Quijote for shopping and the Beppu Tower on the next block.

There is an onsen that allows people with tattoos, well designed bar/lounge area with really nice Tannoy speakers. The location is great with the sea just 2 mins away. The reception people were also very helpful both before my arrival and also when I checked out.

Great place to start your exploration of Beppu. all the best onsen and Hells of Beppu are within walking distance. And the hosts are very friendly and helpful :)

It's much better than the rating suggests. The room is cheap, fairly large, and very comfortable, and it's very well located in the city. The only bathroom is a bit rundown, but you get tickets to go to the onsen next door every day. There's a rooftop and a kitchen. I recommend it.

The property has 4 rooms (only one has Japanese beds). It was really clean and had more than enough space. And the onsen was really nice and could be locked (just like a bathroom). The washing machine was also very good. When we arrived there was nobody around, so we sent a message via Booking and 10 minutes later our host appeared. She was so nice and offered us green tee with Japanese sweets during the afternoon. She also prepared a fresh breakfast (we appeared one morning at 10.20 and she had prepared a small soupe and sandwiches- so thoughtful!). We can only fully recommend the guesthouse.
