The room was really beautifull, comfortable and clean. It has amazing views, an windows even from the bathroom. La La is an great man, he helped us in everything we needed, and we could learn a lot talking with him about Jaiselmer, history and indian/hindu culture. The team ist really friendly, and always there for you. The dessert Safari that he organize ist really good. Not crowed at all, and you get to sleep in a really special spot in the dunes. Thanks for everything!

This is the third time I've been back to Casa del Sol because the staff is so welcoming. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. There's a great rooftop terrace where the restaurant's dishes are served. Chef Omkara's cuisine is excellent. You can listen to music, relax, play carrom, and have a great time. And you can even arrange a safari right from here, at a good price. Thanks to the whole team!!!

Gajanand Guest House is a hidden gem in Jaisalmer. Every time I visit this amazing city I stay at this quaint, wonderful home stay. Kamal and Bhavna welcome every guest as though they were family. You won’t find a more thoughtful, caring and honest man than Kamal. He’s the kind of guy you can go to for anything and will do his utmost to make your stay as memorable as possible. The location is very central and is within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants and shopping. Kamal is a wealth of information regarding local history and culture. He will gladly arrange for pick up from train or airport and knows all the local guides so can assist in organizing local tours and desert safari’s. The rooms are spotless, spacious, comfortable and very secure. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with hot water. I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing some of Bhavna’s home cooked meals and was blown away. Her food is incredibly delicious and would rival some better restaurants. You truly can’t ask for better hosts. Gajanand Guest House is the very best budget stay in Jaisalmer. You simply won’t find anything comparable for the price. We stayed at Desert Boys for almost one week and it was our favourite place in Rajasthan. The room was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The main terrace is beautifully positioned overlooking the final gate into the fort while the rooftop offers a lovely spot to enjoy a sundowner before dinner and 360 views. The residence has been in the same family for several generations and the brothers who now run it are incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful, as we’re all the staff. The food was also delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Couldn’t recommend enough if staying inside the fort.

Great value for money - you get to stay in an original fort building that gives a real feeling of being in the ancient times. I had an amazing city view right from my window. The hotel owner picked me up from the bus station and one of the staff members dropped me off at the end of my stay at no extra cost. Everyone in the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
