Well situated half between the beach and the city center, Johnson homestay is a great family house with a nice garden. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Johnson is very welcoming and very committed to his guests. I particularly appreciated his advices for the ferries in the backwaters and I had a memorable experience. Even if I didn’t have the time to do his tour on village canoe cruise, the guests who did it were really satisfied. Wonderful stay !

I was in a private room in this hostel, which was big and clean. The commutation was very good and the owner both nice and knowledgeable. There wasn’t a great deal around the immediate location but all that was needed were only a short walk away. The area felt very safe both day and night.

We were so happy to stay there and sad to leave! Lisa was a great host, we felt very good at their place. We enjoyed the charming house, the location to walk, cycle and boat tour from the house. The food was so good and varied! Also there is loads of yummy food so you may have to say no at times ☺️ Lisa can help to book the boat tour, and she has bikes and kayak to rent. Gotra beach casa is very close to the beach and the room was very comfortable and clean, in addition there were also air-conditioned rooms. We were also able to use the kitchen and eat there some days. But what we liked the most was the owner Sulfikar. He is very professional, kind and friendly. He recommended us plans, restaurants, shops and he even took us by car to some place that was far away. We wanted to rest for a couple of days somewhere near the sea and we were so comfortable that we ended up staying for a month!! now, we leave here with a new friend and a wonderful experience. PS: we also recommend his houseboat, a very cool experience to do if you come to Alappuzha😁

We stayed at Marari Dreamz for 3 days. We were supposed to stay less, but after a few minutes of entering this beautiful, lush garden, my husband and I looked at each other and decided to stay longer. Why? We were greeted with warm smiles from Allwyn, Jency, the entire staff, and the many dogs and cats. The garden, the apartments, the pools, the common area, the kitchen...everything exudes love and attention to detail. You can tell everything was done with great care to make guests feel at home. And that's how we felt. Even before arriving, we had received all the useful information about Marari, the activities to do, where to eat...unprecedented service. To every request we had, the response was a smile and "of course, anything is possible." Jency's cuisine is spectacular; she fulfilled our every wish, cooking vegan and non-spicy, but everything was delicious. We stayed in one of the villas with a private pool, and it was enchanting. I recommend everyone to come here to discover a little corner of paradise.
