Great in every way. Even has a fridge

We very like this homestay where we stayed 4nights. Easy to communicate in English with Feby, our super host who helped us in many ways : sim card, atm, taxi driver, laundry,... The guesthouse is very nice with garden, secure parking, a lot of place for kids can play, ... kitchen, fridge, air con, laudry available. The room was confortable with big bed and the pillow and bed sheets were so soft and confortable. All is perfect. We will come back again!

It's easy to get food around the property

Very kind , generous , helpful host . Place is clean and location great. I had arrived with a 30 hour plus bus from Jakarta and felt like coming home. Slept like a baby on a comfy bedding. Quit place too. They let me use their foldable bike , they took me to see their family . I was constantly invited to eat something . The kids are polite, the new baby is so peaceful and cute . The father is great with his kids . It's such an inspiring family to get to know . Highly recommended !!!

If you are a foreign traveler planning to go to MENTAWAI just DON’T stay in this Hotel! I left this hotel after one hour of staying. First when i arrived nobody say even “hello” to me, i was waiting for check in LONG time, extremely slow, then, they don’t understand how booking.com works, they tried to charge me their hotel price instead of price that i had on booking.com , reception don’t understand that booking give discounts depending on your account level, so they had to call the manager! After that when we arrived in room, room looked totally different than on photos, i didn’t even had a towel in the room, it was dirty , depressing room with black spots on walls, spider net in corner, i found hair in my bed from who know who. Then i kindly ask the reception if they can change my room to another one because this is not what i booked, they say they are coming..i was sitting half an hour nobody came….so i went down and i saw receptionists dont care, so i told them to call me the manager , i wanted to speak with her…they tried to avoid that, they didnt let me first speak with her, then after when i got upset they gave me. Manager told me on phone that the room is CLEAN…so how is it clean if you have 2cm dust on television and spider nets in corner, and somebody hair in my bed?! What type of cleaning is that? Specially for that price. I got my money back, and i left the place straight after that. I am not a picky guy i can sleep anywhere, but when i see somebody just dont care about their customer i dont want to give them my money i would rather sleep on the street. For this price there are much much better places in Padang!
