We wanted to go to the Ijen crater and the location was excellent. we loved the nature in which the property was, the friendliness of the staff, the choice we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality of the dishes.

Very friendly staff, they help you with everything you need. Nice breakfast, great price, the room is huge and new, all clean. 2 min from the train station and near the start of Ijen volcano. They also rent scooters. Thank you, amazing!

I stayed for one night in dannu's guesthouse and had a great time. The guesthouse has a familiar feeling and the owner is very helpful and went out of his way to help me with problems and transportation. He has lived in Sweden for 12 to my surprise. Would absolutely recommend this place if you want a more authentic feeling rather then some of the newer hostels thst are available in town.

The best place we have stayed during our trip! The owner is so kind and helpful, he picked us up from the train station despite our train being 5 hours late, helped us book the Ijen tour at an amazing price and arranged our transport to Bali! The rooms were really clean and the outside area was great to relax in! Plus the free breakfast was amazing!
