Pod Zidom is a fantastic place to stay in Zagreb. They only have maybe 3/4 rooms and its not a hotel with a front desk or any full time staff on premises but you get all the amenities you need and the room is cleaned every day, really can't beat it especially for the price. The location is also superb, minutes away from the central square and a great place to be based in Zagreb. In addition to providing free wifi in the rooms, they also provide a free portable wifi router with which you can access the internet while you are exploring Zagreb, was great for me because my roaming facilities were not working very well so really appreciated this touch. The two restaurants downstairs are owned by the same guys who run the hotel and both are really good.
