Guest Houses in Vela Luka

Maybe a review from my stay at the beginning of February 2025 will be useful for those who like visit Croatia off-season. During the season, everyone has the same reference. But in winter? I stayed here for 2 nights (extended by 1 day, so 3). Next door is a great restaurant open all year round. It's worth supporting such owners, because 95% is closed in the winter time. 13 degrees evening is enough in February 3th to go in flip-flops for 30 m, eat great fish, watch the handball final between Croatia and Denmark (check the result) and return to a wonderfully furnished room with an excellent pizza on the go. Had the room with an open view of the marina. Just open the window and feel the Vela Luka's charm. Excellent, and that's only in winter! From the useful information you'll receive a voucher entitling you to park your car everywhere in Vela Luka for free. I probably won't come back to this hotel as I bought a house nearby during this stay ;-) However I recommend it to my friends and all the potential clients from booking _com.

Loved the accommodation, it was right in the little town. We had a view of the beautiful harbour from the window. There was a nice shared lounge and shared balcony. We arrived a few hours too early but the hosts didn't mind. The host also let us leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were a lovely couple.

The location was perfect, with no noises from the street and its own privacy. Staff were super nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

Cute apartment directly in center. Fully equiped with a nice balcony and a sea view. We loved the big glas windows 😍 even though it's fully in center we had our own parking place directly at the apartment place! The host was friendly and nice she even gave us some tips what to do and see while we're visiting Korcula.

Perfect stay on great location in Vela Luka. Such a nice hosts and our mutual communication. Perfect cleanliness of the apartment. Literally felt like home. In weird times like these, I wish my country Croatia has more people in tourism branch like Miss Dolores and her mother, all challengs in croatian tourism would disappear. All recommendations. Enough said. : ) PS I didn't even have to worry about staying hungry, really appreciate.

Vladimir is a great host. He saved us after midnight because we did not have anywhere to go (and this is extremely appreciated and we are very sorry to have had to call at that hour). The location is amazing: peaceful, cozy, and green. If you open your balcony door, you can hear the waves. I can definitely recommend it!

The location was very good because it is only a couple of minutes away from the city center (and a port). The room was absolutely beautiful, air condition was already working before our arrival which was so nice because we came in the middle of Summer. We had the whole access to the pool that looks very romantic during the night even looking from the room. I would like to highlight that the best part of our staying was beautiful, the most kind and heartly person Marina who was our host. Thank you very much for welcoming us, giving us recommendations and only kind words during and at the very end of our staying.

This house is amazing and the pictures don't do it justice. Ana, the host, along with her daughter met us with a friendly smile and a very warm welcome. Ana even had fruit, biscuits juice and water as a welcome treat...so kind. Private parking is on the road and you walk down steps to the house. The house is very clean and very well stocked with everything you need and there are amazing views from every part....so beautiful. The pool area is very spacious with plenty sunbeds and a fantastic games room equipped with pool table, football table and darts. We had such fun here with our teen boys. The next level down has 2 bedrooms, both with very comfy beds and pillows, a bathroom and kitchen. Off the kitchen is very spacious and very well.shaded terrace ideal for eating meals. The views from here are spectacular and sunsets to die for! The terrace also has a chill out area with couch and chairs...a lovely reading spot. The next level down is where our eldest teen slept and he loved that extra bit of privacy. He had his own bathroom too and own little seating area outside but mostly he joined us on our terrace. One of the most beautiful things about this house is that you have private access to a bay a few more steps down from the house. The water was crystal clear and a beautiful colour.....hours of fun... snorkeling and swimming. We took down some of our sunbeds some days to chill out down there too. The location is very peaceful and yet so close to Blato for shops or Prigradica, even closer for fresh bread. We visited a beautiful Italian restaurant in Blato and it is a very easy drive to Vela Luka for more restaurants. It's also a beautiful drive to Korcula town and makes for a lovely day out. This house exceeded all of our expectations and Ana is a wonderful host. She is available on her phone anytime if you have any questions and even messaged us to check if we were getting on OK. I would highly recommend here....you will not be disappointed
