The Rooms at the Apple Pie was perfectly located in the centre of Ambleside, an easy walk to all of the shops. Our room was an attic room - the ceiling definitely is a bit low for someone who is tall, but it was a great size and very comfortable, we had a great sleep. There was an honesty bar system for cokes and crisps among other things, but we had both breakfast and lunch (and an apple pie) from the delicious bakery and cafe next door. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Brantfelll House. Mandy and Ady were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were amazing cooked to order, fresh daily with many choices! Ady was a wealth of information which helped when planning our day.
