The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Yolanda who greeted us at the property didn’t speak any English, and we didn’t speak any Spanish, but she was able to fully explain the check in/check out system and also gave us loads of fantastic tips on getting around the city and pointers on where to go/what to see. The room was exactly what we needed. Spacious, secure and well located to allow us to explore with ease.

Location is very good and I had a room with balcony that looked towards the plaza, so very quiet. My room was very clean and the bathroom with the mirror lights where a bonus! I would for sure stay here again! The owner was very helpful to give me advice where to go and gave me recommendations for great places to eat.

It's the second time we stay there on our way to San Sebastian. It's a very simple accommodation, but all so clean, beds comfortable, and quiet. Had a lovely time there.

Literally a one minute walk from the bus station, and only slightly longer from the train stations, Hostal Cabo Mayor seems to be the perfect location for the budget-conscious tourist. Moreover Calle Cadiz leads straight into the heart of Santander, making it almost impossible to become lost. Very conveniently for me the early check-in time of 10:00a.m. allowed me to take advantage of an early morning bus from my previous stay. The room includes a fridge and kettle and is quite spacious.

Great for short stays. Superb location for Santander, almost everything is walking distance. Comfy beds and clean bathroom.
