We had a wonderful stay at Mango Guest House in Aswan, just around our day trip to Abu Simbel. The guest house provided a calm and clean environment, making our experience truly lovely. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was the easy access to Elephantine Island, with frequent boats available for a convenient visit. Overall, we had a great time at Mango Guest House and would highly recommend it for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Aswan.

Great view of the city. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a 2 minute ferry to mainland.

The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

We had a lovely stay at La Terrasse. Happy to be on an island a bit further from the trouble and noise of the city. The terrasse offers beautiful views over the Nile. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. Mohammed is nice and very useful. We will definitely come back if we come back to Aswan (which we hope to)!

We had a warm welcome, the staff are all excellent, very hospitable and helpful. The rooms were clean and the view picturesque. The Island has a nice and relaxed nubian vibe. There is a nearby grocery store that is very convenient and delicious restaurants nearby serving nubian food. For anyone wondering. It is easy to reach by boat at al hours either by public or private boat and if you are uncertain ask the guest House and they will help you out. They also helped us arrange experiences in the area such as Abu Simbel and boat rides. I can recommend taking a boat ride with some of the young guys working here to the nubian Village i.e. They also have a very good breakfast at a resonable price.

Staff was amazing - room was very clean and the shower was hot. They provide free transport across on their private boat even at midnight. Gasser was very friendly. Breakfast was good and they provide a lot of food.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, good breakfasts, fantastic location (overlooking Nile), close to good restaurants and ferry. Sorted trips (with good drivers) to Philae & high dam and to Luxor via Kom Ombo & Edfu.

It is a nice intimate place in the beautiful island of Elephantine. The room was spotlessly clean, which was great relief after being disappointed by different hostels in Cairo. We enjoyed the short walks on the island, where we met a lot of welcoming local families, away from the hustle of downtown. We also enjoyed the beautiful little terrace and garden in front of the room, and the good dishes made by Kafana and his crew. They were all extremely nice and respectful, besides being a great company and fun to be around. We felt we were among friends. Kafana himself is very accommodating and went out of his way to get us to our train on time. Very thankful for this experience and will surely visit again.

We've enjoyed a wonderful experience at Nuba Tod and from the moment we've arrived Mr. Abouda welcomed us on the top roof with traditional drink and interesting stories of what we can do during our stay. Amazing colourful, confortable house and large view of mighty Nile full of boats. Even had the occasion to take part of a birthday party of a young girls on the top roof, in one evening. We'll take any future opportunity to come again! Thank you Mr. Abouda for your warm treat and greetings to all!
