The dorm room was well-maintained, with comfortable beds, individual power outlets, and reading lights. A truly special highlight was the alpaca tour – you can feed and pet the alpacas, and during the day or evening, it’s nice just to watch them from a distance. The place is also perfect for catching a beautiful sunset. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth and easy.

This holiday retreat is situated 27 km from the coastal village of Vila Nova de Milfontes and Praia do Malhão. Cape Sardão with its community of black storks and lighthouse is a 45-minute drive away. Paula and Alexandre are two wonderful human beings, so helpful, kind and just lovely. My sister and I felt immediately at home. The garden is such an idyllic place, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. We could not get enough of the two dogs! :-) They provided us with a vegan breakfast every morning and gave us hiking-tipps - we could not have asked for more and would love to stay there again soon!

The property is non-smoking and is set 22 km from Sao Clemente Fort. We loved this place so much! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable and had lots of useful things in the kitchen for a great stay, such as a coffee press, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. The bed was so comfortable and warm, it was tastefully upholstered throughout. The toilet and shower were clean and well designed. The shower was always hot. Our favourite thing was how peaceful and private it seemed. We walked the nearby circular trail and didn't pass anyone the whole way (13km). Contact with owners was informative but contactless which we liked. It really felt like a retreat!
