This place is in the middle of nowhere, but I’d still say it’s accessible for hikers like me. It’s definitely a unique spot. The property features a luxury-style pool that not only looks great but is actually clean and wonderfully refreshing. There are several chill-out areas with seating, along with shared facilities like a kitchen, bathrooms, and showers. The dorm room was well-maintained, with comfortable beds, individual power outlets, and reading lights. A truly special highlight was the alpaca tour – you can feed and pet the alpacas, and during the day or evening, it’s nice just to watch them from a distance. The place is also perfect for catching a beautiful sunset. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth and easy.

This tent is warmly decorated with local materials like iron, wood and goat fur. The bathroom has a cork washbasin. The tent faces the biological swimming pool. Only a few metres away from the traditional circuit is a small heavenly island where you can disconnect and get connected with nature & people. Beautiful location looking up to Monchique and big starry nights. We had everything we needed to a very high quality, tastefully renovated caravan, outdoor cooking and the best shower. Love what Jess and Mayo are doing, creating rejuvenating space where it is worth taking time to relax and enjoy it. Perfect hosts.

We loved this place so much! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable and had lots of useful things in the kitchen for a great stay, such as a coffee press, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. The bed was so comfortable and warm, it was tastefully upholstered throughout. The toilet and shower were clean and well designed. The shower was always hot. Our favourite thing was how peaceful and private it seemed. We walked the nearby circular trail and didn't pass anyone the whole way (13km). Contact with owners was informative but contactless which we liked. It really felt like a retreat!

The tents and facilities were so well taken care of and comfortable. This is a very special a rare gem of a camping experience. Sophie and Julien are great hosts and all around lovely people. And the dogs were very sweet and respectful too

The bed was super comfortable and overall we felt in the perfect mood and setting to relax, exactly as it was planned. The swimming pool is also a must.

Best place to relax and explore the surroundings. We stayed in a tipi tent which is simply marvellous, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and hosts are super nice.
