The hosts are accommodating and helpful. Location super for travelling around Westport and Achill Island. The structure has many amenities and everything was spotless. We came along with our dog and we surely will come back again.

Situated in Westport and only 6.1 km from Westport Train Station, Westport Glamping at Doon Angus Farm features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The little cottages are very cute and well-equipped, Mary and Martin are excellent hosts, who showed us around the area and gave us some amazing recommendations. The animals on the farm, including a little foal called "Bruce" , a very friendly dog and cat and some lambs are also a big plus. The common rooms are super big and nicely equipped too, with a pool table and everything. I'd come back there anytime to spend some more time in the area. It's also a very good "base camp" to go and hike Croagh Patrick or drive a bit further up to the Achill Islands. There is also a bus stop quite close to the farm, which runs until 22:47, a very good option to explore Westport and the local pubs without having to drive. Being in the heart of nature with no close by neighbours, the views, having all house needs fulfilled, the small attentions like the prosecco bottle, the hospitality of the hosts, the small service they did for us on the last day... My son met a donkey for the first time (but tell no one: I think I loved feeding her carrots more than my son did). The toys in the house.. The hot water and heating in no time.. There isn't really much not to like.
