The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

Each meal at Santani is an experience, and with no printed menus, the chefs propose a menu to each guest based on the dietary preferences and utilizing the fresh organic vegetables grown on site. All room categories are available on a full-board basis. Literally everything! From the beautiful architecture to the staff. The chef is amazing and every meal was special, the staff is incredibly kind and resourceful. Ayurveda treatments and yoga sessions are great. The silence and the view from the room will leave you speechless. Hope to be back soon!

Bathrooms come with bathrobes, free toiletries and a hairdryer. One of the most enchanting places on earth! Nihal took exceptional care of us from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property, the garden, and the pool are truly magical. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast, and both meals were absolutely delicious. The chef Idika came personally to check in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is in Kandy, just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre. The hotel also kindly offered to drive us back and forth. Overall, a five-star-plus experience.
