Agrigento
Villa Athena, a modern 5-star hotel, is located within Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features a wellness centre, an outdoor pool, and both free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. I loved the property. Even minor things didn’t bother how amazing it was! The breakfast is great, even a la carte. The views are stunning, if you choose the room with a view. We got there during Easter holiday and had an amazing garden grill set menu lunch with Italian style long table. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Property is absolutely beautiful and they had their own little path into the gardens and the UNESCO sight which I found to be exceptionally convenient. Parking was big and the whole property is just amazing.
Agrigento
Overlooking Juno’s Temple, the sea and either the pool or the garden, uniquely decorated rooms and studios come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some room come with a private pool. This place is nothing short of extraordinary, and although we only stayed for one night, it left such a lasting impression that we can’t help but wish we’d stayed longer! The Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa is a hidden gem that offers everything you could possibly want in a luxury getaway. From the very first moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Their kindness and attentiveness were unmatched—from the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful “to-go” breakfast box they prepared for us when we had to leave early. Special shoutout to Mario and Luca, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. They made us feel truly at home. As for the resort itself, the setting is simply breathtaking. The views of the valley and surrounding countryside are unparalleled, while the eco-luxury design of the resort combines modern comfort with a peaceful, nature-infused atmosphere. We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it was the perfect way to unwind. Spacious, comfortable, and tranquil, it was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. Dining here was an experience in itself, and each meal exceeded expectations. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor, paired with some excellent wine recommendations. Dining with the stunning views of the valley and nearby temples was an unforgettable experience that we’ll cherish. The thoughtful touches, incredible staff, and amazing amenities made this an experience we’ll remember for years to come. We couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to come back—next time, for a much longer stay!

Our apartment was luxury in everyway. Superb value for money with sensational views. A wonderful surprise to see the valley of temples lit up at night from the balcony. The apartment was very spacious and extremely comfortable within 2mins walk from the beautiful town of Agrigento.
The hospitality of this lovely family is 5 star. Nothing is too big of an ask and they are very good cooks. They made conversation and helped with anything we asked. The pool is also lovely and paddle is very cool option.
Amazing boutique hotel. Everything was perfect from check in to check out, the room was spacious and had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner was a wonderful experience on the same level as a starred restaurant. We will definitely come back and recommend it
Very nice 5 stars hotel, it was perfect, room, service, restaurant and specially the reception.
Loved the pool and setting around pool. The quality of the food. Dinner as well as breakfast. Staff were lovely. Amazing chef. For those that like to eat a lot and late. Perfection.
From the Penthouse: Outstanding views out to sea, with privacy on the balcony-not overlooked. Beautiful spacious apartment, very clean. Modern decor. Quiet. A non touristy village in the mountains. Authentic Italian village. Stayed here after visiting the Turkish Steps, only about 20-30 minutes from there. Nice quiet stop over. Nice breakfast provided by host and late check out allowed.
+ truly 5 star staff attitude and hotel facilities + private entrance to archeological park allowing you to walk directly into the Valley of the Temples + outstanding breakfast and a restaurant with an amazing view of the park
