Free private parking is available and the farm stay also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. This was one of best places we ever stayed at in Italy. The apartment (and the whole house) is amazing. Carefully restored old building with lots of history in it. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and of a high standard. You can notice the personal touch of the owner (beautiful furniture made by the owner) which makes your stay much nicer. Renata is a very friendly person. She gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. We stayed only for one night but hope to come back another time for longer. I highly recommend this place!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Our room was in a traditional house that had been in the family for 200 years. Being a family home meant the hospitality was first class. The room was large and comfortable . The house is situated in an alpine pasture area with great walks in the area , as well as the Bletterbach gorge. The breakfast was excellent and you can order homemade dinner if you like. Highly recommended!

The units have parquet floors and include a seating area with satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. A dishwasher, an oven and fridge are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the farm stay, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. We were traveling with extended family and occupied both apartments situated on the ground floor (from the hill side) with its own antechamber. Both apartments have a balcony with stunning views of the village and the Alps. The Egger family lives upstairs and is very friendly and welcoming (they also include a free bottle of milk each morning). Both apartments were clean and warm and furnished with high quality wooden furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were impeccable. The whole house is built in traditional style but has been recently renovated (with central heating). The house is very spacious and so are the apartments - much bigger than they appear on the photos. The location is very good - relatively close to the Merano2000 and would recommend for skiing season HQ. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, there was no snow, but if there was, snow sleds for kids were available in the yard as well as the very inviting slopes all around the house. There is also a grill and a large table and because the surroundings are also great for hiking, I'm sure the Obkirchhof property would meet the needs of summer visitors as well.

The combination of the charming, antique breakfast room, clean and comfortable accommodations, and the warm hospitality of our host, Katja, made it an unforgettable experience. Staben is a tiny but picturesque village with a spectacular location for outdoor enthusiasts. There are hundreds of hiking trails just above the village, an amazing cycling path along the Adige River, and the town of Meran is just a 20 minute drive, by car, away (the train station is only a 5-6 minute walk from the apartment). Despite its convenient location, the area remains peaceful and quiet. Katja recommended some wonderful places to eat, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. A big highlight was the breakfast, which featured plenty of homemade, local products such as seasonal juices and jams—an added treat in a region known for its abundant orchards. Thank you, Katja, for this wonderful experience. We would definitely love to come back.

Everything in the room was well thought out. The room was comfortable, large, had amazing views and was quiet. The "honesty" bar was a great idea with a beautiful sitting area. The breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the hiking right behind the property. We enjoyed everything! One of our best stays ever.

The views are stunning, the room is very comfortable, the staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfasts with home made products and the rooms were spotless! Irene, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for families – our kids loved the open space and especially enjoyed visiting the factory with its animals. It was a peaceful and authentic experience, far more relaxing than staying in crowded Ortisei. The atmosphere was charming and genuine – a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!
