The house was clean and ready upon my arrival. The fridge , tv , washer/dryer appeared very new. The beds were soft . interior design was the best I’ve seen , better than most hotels even .

Staying at Highgrove guesthouse felt like a cosy extension of our own home. Chris and Ally, the hosts, went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and eagerness to assist with anything we needed. Each morning, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast on the terrace, surrounded by the stunning gardens. And if you needed an evening meal, Chris always rustled up something that was just what you didn't know you wanted. I will definitely be staying there again when I am next in Johannesburg.

This place is a gem! Very comfortable, clean, quiet, safe and beautifully furnished. The outdoors are picturesque! The hosts are kind, considerate and attentive to the comfort of their guests. We would've stayed on for a while longer if it wasn't booked out. 😅 PS: If you are looking for something special, we highly recommend Riverclub Guest Suites.

As beautiful as it is in the pictures of not even better. Super clean. I particularly liked the provision of the bathtub cleaning stuff which most places forget and you end up forced to shower. To me it affirmed the level of cleanliness. I can’t wait to come back with my family. Secure parking was another plus for me.
