A beautiful old-world feeling hotel. Rooms have high ceilings and are tastefully decorated. The lobby is beautifully decorated with small koi ponds, plants, moss and flowers. On a previous trip to Chiang Mail, we wandered into the entrance courtyard area where a few people were dining. It was so delightful to observe, I asked a server if a table was available, but he told me dining was only available to hotel guests. On our stay there this trip, I observed another pair of travelers do the same thing!

Well what can I say, we stayed at 6 different cities on this vacation but this boutique hotel had to be the highlight of all the accomodations we stayed in. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, greeted us with a warm friendly vibe, they had our bags in our room for us before I even checked in. The whole jungle jibe setting and ambiance of the hotel was amazing, we could hear all the noises of the animals from our rooms, in particular the frogs. The rooms were very asteticcaly pleasing with an authentic theme and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was amazing, best i have had anywhere on my travels. Everything was so well presented and a different main dish each day. Also the cook would lay out some traditional deserts to try. The pool area was relaxing and they had a wonderful spa also. They also provided a very cheap laundry service, we would give to reception in the morning and in the evening it would appear washed, dried, ironed and folded at our door. The hotel is situated in a small street just off the main roads beside the canals in the old town. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, local coffee shops located close by and even a barbers & bike rental also available across the road from the hotel. It is cheap and easy to rent a tuk tuk or taxi and the hotel staff are happy to arrange for you. The main attraction of the hotel were the staff who were always so attentive, caring and kind. They greated us each day asking our plans and offering suggestions. One day the staff noticed my husband had been bitten by mosquities and he went and got special cream for him to apply. When we used to arrive back in the evening they would be interested in how our day was. We will definitely be back to stay on our next visit yo Chiang Mai.
