We were a family of 9 aged from 7 months to 77 years! We all had a fantastic time. The villa was spotless on arrival. The bedrooms were spacious, all with ensuite. Though the pool was not heated, it was perfectly acceptable and we all had a great time in it. It was a 5 minute walk to lovely Gale beach which we used several times. The local supermarket (Appollina) was just round the corner and was very well stocked but a little pricey (compared to Aldi about a 5 minute drive away). The guidebook provided by Check-in Portugal contained lots of useful information and they were easy to contact eg we ordered a cot, high-chair and 2 games which were all supplied. They also agreed to extend our check-out time by 2 hours.

Great location for beaches, restaurants, and beautiful walks. Villa itself is extremely well kitted out, with plenty of kitchen equipment, towels and the like. Everything clean, and pool was great. Highly recommend Pizza restaurant behind the villa, as well as Zimzala cafe (best coffee in Galé).

This hotel is worth a stay. And a long one, too. It is an oasis of peace, beautifully managed by the manager Julie. She helped us in every possible way, is attentive to every detail and devotes herself to each guest with elegance and care. The breakfast is rich and the food is of impeccable quality. As experienced travellers, we recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The Suite we had is clearly the nicest room of the hotel with an absolutely stunning view. The double room makes the experience absolutely fantastic and proof to any need you have if you are a couple : whilst one rests on the bed the other one can be busy in the office/living room without disturbing. I have rarely seen such a wonderful view in hotels in Algarve - it's only trumped by the view you have on the rooftop of the building. By the way they had organised a nice "white night" to observe the moon-rise that evening. Lovely ! The breakfast it amazing - the pool is very nice too. You can see little details here and there that were lovely like a selection of books in free service, for those who forgot theirs. English, French and portuguese!

Great design of the entire property, from the rooms to the shared kitchen and garden. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is huge with double sink and double shower. The shared kitchen is amazing. Separate fridge and storage for each room, fantastic cooking utensils. Great layout. Loved it!
