Hans could not have made us feel more welcome. He was so attentive and kind, super responsive with messages too. It is in a nice, quiet, residential location with easy access to the city. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The area is fantastic - 1 metro stop from the busy city centre and it is nice and quiet with a river and ducks)) Complementary bikes available to get a real local experience. It truly is your home - a restaurant that feels like your kitchen counter where you hang around with friends and family, a lounge that feels like your comfy couch at home where you lay back and read a book in front of the fire place. The ease and approach by the staff makes it all so much easier to be yourself, get to know each other and settle in. The difference between my home and this place is the quality of wines they have in the wine cellar and the chefs serving stellar dishes, owh and the design of the place! The eye for quality and details is insane and truly comes together setting the perfect setting whether its for day use to relax, quick lunch or, as we did, enjoy a long evening at the bar for diner. I was a little hesitant about the location but my partner convinced me and she was right - by electric bike you are in the city centre within 15min, whilst it takes 15min by taxi. So lets say we found our place to stay when in Amsterdam - as no other hotel or restaurant can beat the views over the water...
