Excellent room, all around. Very fun and stylish, as was the whole facility. Location was perfect; secure back entrance opens directly into the historic center, and just minutes walk to attractions and food/drink. Our room had a balcony, and overlooked the road inside the walls. I would recommend a balcony room for this purpose. The balcony was large, with 2 chairs and a table. There are also pleasant looking outside lounge areas on each floor. Although the downstairs area includes a bar and restaurant, the soundproofing is exceptional; one night, we returned to the hotel and very loud EDM music was playing in the bar, but none of the sound leaked into our room. For the season, the room's climate control had been set to a minimum 20 degrees, which was too warm for me, so we asked the reception desk and she turned off the limiter to our room and we were able to adjust the minimum and maximum at will. (A cool thing to know!) Breakfast was ordered from a menu, with abundant choices, and served quickly. Bacon and eggs was on the daily menu, and it was a treat; at least 3 or 4 eggs, fluffily scrambled, with yummy toast and 3 strips of American-style bacon.

Palazzo dei Tolomei is very centrally located in the old city. It is beautifully maintained with great pride. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, the bed linen was quality. Breakfast out on the roof top was stunning, as was just being able to sit out there at any time. The breakfast was very generous, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptional and Barbara, was extremely helpful with organising a taxi, getting our laundry done. A high quality place to stay

We had a wonderful two-night stay in Lecce. The hotel was in a very central location. The lady who owns the hotel was extremely helpful and kind. Gianni was an amazing host and provided us with so much useful information. The room was spacious and clean with a large terrace. So central in Lecce and we walked everywhere. Bars and restaurants on your doorstep.

Everything……. in all the years of travelling and renting accommodation this was the best….. from the pick up from the train station to the stunning avant-garde apartment to all the amazing, delicious goodies supplied which provided both our breakfasts and lunches……….to the drop off at the bus station at 6am……..superb and enormous thanks

Lovely room, helpful staff, great location near the edge of the old town but only a short walk to all the nicest places. Easy to drop off luggage and park just outside the walls in paid carpark (€20 for 24 hours). Very comfortable king size bed.

The Bed and Breakfast Leccesalento is located on the square of Sant Oronzo, a stone's throw away from the historic centre and the birthplace of the Baroque.

The location is excellent, with easy access to all the places I wanted to visit. Additionally, the girl who checked me in was very kind and helpful, which made me feel very welcome from the start.
