The most beautiful houseboat ive ever seen. The lake was so perfect, peaceful, idyllic, calm and very romantic, like something out of a noval. Yaseen, his brothers and family were so accommodating and the staff were fabulous! Breakfast and supper were incredible. We were spoilt rotten. We also bought an incredible Kashmiri silk carpet which they are sending back to the uk for us that will remind us of this time forever. Thank you guys we LOVED IT!

Set in the tranquil Nigeen Lake, New Jacqueline Heritage Houseboat (NJHH) is a true gem in Srinagar. This property is very clean, well maintained, and beautifully adorned with traditional Kashmiri interiors. We were treated to great hospitality by the owner, Mr. Maqsood his son Sami and their entire team. Special mention to Muneer for taking good care of us and our needs during our stay. We are vegetarians, and the food served was to our liking. The views from the deck area are beautiful. I would recommend visitors to spend atleast 2 nights to soak in the experience. We will definitely visit this property again.
P.S, If you get an opportunity to visit the houseboat owner Mr. Maqsood's residence, pls do visit to look at his collection of Kashmiri pashmina shawls, carpets, clothes, etc. which can be purchased a trip souvenir.

The boat was on the Nageen Lake in a super quiet and idyllic place. The hosts were more than friendly and extremely helpful. We are grateful abour our experience at the boat and would highly reccomend it.

Ash and his Family make you feel so welcomed in their home. The room was amazing, clean and has everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one. Ash helped me when I ran into an issue at a petrol station. Everyone is super friendly and treat you like you're part of their family. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
