really liked the place - we actually moved out of an Airbnb in St Theresa, where we didnt feel secure and were so happy to have chosen the hotel - its calm and the neighbourhood is nice and bustling and we felt rather secure. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is amazing! Great plus for the pool and the sauna, we would stay here again.

The hostel has everything, it far exceeded my expectations so I even went back a 2nd time during my trip. Helpful, friendly staff. Great facilities including bar, kitchen, co working space, chill out areas and a well equipped gym. The breakfast was also great. I hope they franchise this across the world - I would always stay in hostels if they were all this good :)

Castelinho is a peaceful escape in the middle of Rio. It’s quiet, full of nature, and you wake up to birds singing. The view is amazing, and the whole place feels calm and relaxing.

Easy street parking. Great location to famous steps. Sugarloaf Mountain View from the bedroom and back balcony with sunrise. Washing machine facilities , very good Wi-Fi (50mbit) nice shower, nice kitchen etc.. good value.

The property is in an excellent location- close to the heart of Santa Teresa but escapes the noise and crowds of Rio. The views around the house are breathtaking, from the breakfast room to the pool and the cozy reading rooms. The staff was super friendly and Adriana in particular welcomed us with open arms and was very helpful throughout.

We’ve just spent two nights at Casa Geranio.
It’s an absolutely beautiful oasis in amazing Rio with a stunning view.
It is in a good location, walking distance to restaurants and bars yet safe, secure, peaceful.
We stayed in a room with private pool, stunning room, very beautifully done. The pool was welcome after a day out exploring in the sun.
Breakfast is exceptional. Everything made for the moment and changed daily.
What sets this place apart is the special care the owners & staff put into making each guests stay special.
All of the details have been thought through and it shows with the generosity. We travel a lot and it is rare to find everything executed in such an exceptional way. It is faultless. The owners and staff and so kind and thoughtful.
During our month in South America, this was our favorite accommodation. Would not hesitate to recommend this property. Don’t hesitate to book, it would be impossible to regret it.
