This was a great place to stay in a terrific location making it very easy to explore Sydney. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space for two people. There is an excellent cafe next door and a lot of good dining options in the vicinity. Rob is a great host, very friendly and communication with him was excellent and he made us feel very welcome. Many thanks for a great stay.

I have stayed at 11 different hotels in Australia on this journey, and out of those this has been my favorite so far. It's classy, clean with very professional staff, yet it has that "homey" feeling. And even though it's right where there's a lot of traffic, once you're inside you don't hear anything but silence. The detail that I loved the most, that most hotels miss out on was this: A magnifying mirror in the bathroom and good light! I appreciate that so much. The bed was comfortable, the Wifi was fast and steady, the shower was big (two showers, a waterfall type of shower and a regular) the AC easy to operate, plenty of TV channels, a modern clock with two USB chargers on the bedside (if only ALL hotels had this!) two bottles of cold water in the fridge and some small goodies, fruit and biscuits available for free in the little kitchen by the front desk.... One morning I asked the guy at the front desk if he knew what the weather was like today. He actually got up and went outside to find out for me! How is THAT for great service! I loved this place. Every city needs their own little Mrs Banks Hotel.

Oxford House is located in the inner city area of Paddington, just 400 metres from Taylor Square. This hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cinemas and galleries.

If location is not the nicest in Sydney, inside you can find realy good apartments. We took apartments with two bedrooms. It was roomy, beautiful and comfortable. The location is in walking distance from the city center. In case you don’t like long walks like me, there is a train station in ~300 m.
