Star Villa provides a relaxing stay in Nantou, just a 5-minute drive from Chingjing Farm. It provides free internet access and boasts a large terrace which opens up to spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and sky view. Very friendly owners. The property was very nice, clean and modern. Beautiful terrace overlooking the valley.

With modern comfortable design, the units are with comfy queen-sized beds, free WiFi, air conditioning, heating facilities, a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, an electric kettle and free toiletries. Each bathroom has an overhead shower and also a huge stone bathtub, waving your weariness away after a long day. My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon / a trip to Taiwan to see my extended family. The front desk was incredibly helpful with recommendations on what to do during our 3-day stay, including a little local viewing spot to see fireflies that was magical to see (I had no idea it was firefly season at all!), though I believe they primarily speak Mandarin Chinese / had to translate for my husband. Our room had a lovely partial view of the lake, and watching how the light changes over time while eating snacks we brought back was a treat!

Cherry Feast Resort is located in Yuchi, very close to the bank of Sun Moon Lake. Yidashao Pier is only a 5-minute walk away. The property offers free parking and free WiFi access in all areas.

Scenic spots like Sun Moon Lake Wen Wu Temple is only a 10-minute drive away. Taichung Ching Chuan Kang Airport is 56 km away. The location is great and easy to find. They have their own parking area as well. The room was also very quiet. I could not hear any outside noise. The air conditioning worked very well on a hot day.

Cingjing Vienna Pleasance Cottage is located a minute’s drive from Dinyuan Xincun Bus Stop. It provides beautiful rooms with private balcony and views of the mountain. The homestay has an organic vegetable garden on site. Location - if you are traveling to Cingjing by bus, the bus stop is just outside the property. if you drive, there is parking available onsite. and it is just minutes walk from the major attractions and eateries. The hosts - the hosts are superb and they made the difference in our stay at Cingjing! They are perhaps the most welcoming hosts I have ever met in my years of travel. The environment - the place is quiet and I love the beautiful plants around the property. u don’t have to wander far to take some nice pictures of the greenery. When we were there, the cherry blossom at the property entrance was blooming! How lucky to be able to see cherry blossom in mid May! BTW, there is a piano at the dining hall and visitors are welcomed to display their skills.

Situated by the beautiful Sun Moon Lake, Lea Lea Garden Hotels offers rooms with breathtaking lake and/or mountain views. It also features an indoor swimming pool, gym and on-site restaurant. A free shuttle bus from Xuishe Tourism Centre to the hotel is provided. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast at sister hotel.

Located in Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, 10-minute walk from Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Station, The Crystal Resort Sun Moon Lake provides modern accommodation with free in-room WiFi in Yuchi. It features a fitness centre and a fine dining restaurant. Cozy with king size comfy bed. Room also come with big bath tub with jacuzzi but we were just to lazy to use it.
