Our host Maria was exceptional! She was ready to make us feel like in home. Also helping with recomendation for visiting the surrondings. The place is absolutely gorgeous if what you are looking for is a natural, relaxed atmosphere. We really liked the common breakfast table that gave us many good opportunities to speak to other guests - the breakfast is buffet style but has all you need incl fruit and fresh juice. You are free to roam the grounds and pick fruit to eat and you have several wineyards within 2km distance. The rooms were really quirky and good size, very clean and with a lot of small details. If you rent with kitchen you have all you need to cook or simply make your European style picknick dinner on the balcony with view to hawks and smaller birds flying overhead. The old rockwalls and modern isolated windows let you sleep in complete silence so make sure you leave a small crack in the old wooden blinds so that the sun will wake you up. We loved the fresh pool after the hot daytrips and you can buy cold wine from local wineyards in the reception if you forgot to bring some home for an evening glass.
