Delfim Douro Hotel was in one word Fantastic, even with a minor incident, what the staff directly and very professional corrected. The moment you walk in, the staff is there. With all the friendly help and the pre-checking was quickly. Everything was in my eyes perfect. We loved also that the hotel helped employees with a handicap, to see the Hotel is not afraid to have employee in a in the wheelchair, who solved our little problem with all the professionalism you can get. The restaurant was great, good food for a decent price, good variety wine and loved the desert, Florest chocolate, you have to try it. :-)

With 55 rooms and 6 suites, all with plenty of natural light and panoramic views. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WIFI. Bathrooms include a free-standing tub as well as free toiletries. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

Some rooms have a private balcony. We should have stayed longer. 2 nigh was not enough to properly appreciate the location and service this hotel offered. Beautiful location, with views to the river, excellent food, comfortable rooms and bed, quiet relaxation. Massage also available. Staff is more than happy to assist anything you might need. Leisurely drive away from fantastic wineries. I would highly recommend it.

Free in-room Wi-Fi is available. Very clean and comfortable rooms , great food. I loved the cats . We definitely want to come back.

Beautiful property and pleasant, helpful team. The location was perfect for us but we’re fit and the steep climb up from the town wasn’t a problem although it would be for some guests.

Cesar, Andre and Hannah are lovely people and made our stay unbelievably wonderful. The breakfast was perfect with the best view and traditional fresh food. We made a wine tasting and a tour through the winery, it was awesome. You can park in front of the Quinta.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Excellent communication and a very friendly host. She made us feel right at home, from the second that we arrived up till the moment we left. Magnificent views both from the room and pool area. The pool is well kept and is never too busy. The breakfast has all you need with a variety of breakfast foods. Everything is fresh and tasty and the host even made us scrambled eggs to accompany the buffet food. Also highly recommend the onsite wine tour of the GUEDA winery. Margarida’s brother is very knowledgable about the wines and he gives the tour himself.
