The guesthouse consists a two-bedroom family suite, a double room, a single room, all with private bathroom with shower, and a communal lounge area with free tea-coffee services and a library. On the property are also two apartments features a living area, kitchen, one or two bedroom(s) and a bathroom with shower. On our arrival we were received by the host. We felt like the place was really more than we expected. Since we did the booking, their communication with me was very good, like if we wanted to book breakfast or a dinner. As it is a small farm, parking wasn't a problem. In every room there are a file with information about the whole property, which was very interesting and informative. In the lobby there were coffee facilities with two different kind of cake for free. Wim invited us to have some whenever we liked to. There is also an honesty bar with snacks and drinks in the lobby. The premises itself is really special. We walked around and saw a lot of different birds. The cork trees and olive trees was beautiful to admire on foot. We enjoyed the dogs a lot, especially Pebbles, who is very fond of golf balls. Quinta Do Cana is really a gem if you prefer staying in the countryside while you are traveling. I wish we could stay longer.

The Estalagem de Marvão is located within the historic walled town center of Marvão. This restored property has comfortable rooms in an ancestral environment in the Portuguese Interior and includes a shop selling regional products. Joao and Branca were so lovely people, that I enjoyed my stay even haven fallen ill. The house is furnished with taste, the breakfast is rich and the house is well located. With the two souls inside I felt like at home. Thank you very much for the stay.

The typically rural guest house features an outdoor swimming pool and a lush green garden. Very interesting place, it is a working farm. The people were very nice and helpful. Loved seeing the history of it. The bathroom was huge, loved the towel warmer.
