Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Good and spacious apartment with veranda located close to the river. We only spent one night, so could not profit from the good location, but laundry facilities were good. Not too far from the few restaurants of the town. Also close by car from the start of Tongariro alpine crossing.

Cathedral Cove Apartment, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y patio a unos 15 min a pie de Cathedral Cove. The hosts, Ray and Ngairene, were wonderful. A charming and very helpful couple. Ngairene met me on arrival and gave me a tour of the apartment. On two occasions, my hosts gave me a ride to the Cathedral Cove trailhead. There is no parking at the trailhead; drop-off only, and this saved me a long, steep hike before tackling the trail. I was allowed to use their laundry facilities, which was much appreciated. Anyone visiting the Hahei area could do no better than to stay at the Cathedral Cove Apartment. Kia Ora!

Ohuka Place Homestay se encuentra en Whitianga, en la región de Waikato, a 47 km de Driving Creek Railway and Potteries. Harvey and Sue were such kind, incredible hosts. Their home was so cozy and they made us feel so welcomed. The house was clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Highly recommend staying with them!

El Grafton Cottage & Chalets ofrece chalets privados con vistas al Támesis y vistas preciosas al mar. Cuenta con piscina al aire libre y bañera de hidromasaje. Arrived as guests, left as friends. Amazing views, especially sunrise & sunset. Very well appointed cottage, clean, quiet and comfortable. Every need catered for. Plus a welcome gift of yummy locally made liqueur & chocolate biscuits! Will definitely be returning :D

El The Reef Resort Motel ofrece un alojamiento independiente junto al lago Taupo. Me alojé con mis hijos en dos habitaciones separadas. El lugar es extremadamente limpio y delicadamente decorado, tanto las habitaciones como los jardines y las áreas comunes. El personal es muy amable y tratan de adecuarse a tus requerimientos. La piscina temperada está a una temperatura muy agradable, incluso en clima frío y con lluvia uno se puede bañar sin problemas. Hay acceso hacia el lago Taupo para ir a una caminata o paseo. Hay disponibilidad de desayuno de pago o se puede cocinar algo simple en la habitación ya que posee cocinilla y mini fridge.

El Coromandel Seaview Motel está situado entre las montañas y el mar de la península de Coromandel. Está cerca de la famosa pesca en agua salada y de varias actividades al aire libre. It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived at the motel, so I didn't expect much, just wanted a room to take a bath and a bed so I could take some rest. But this was far beyond my expectations. The hosts were so kind that they didn't just only give us good advice on how to plan our visit in the peninsula the next day, but also took us to the perfect spots to take pics of sunset. The view of the motel was great, but the places they took us to were just awesome. The next morning, I was waken up by the sunrise from the sea and it was just fantastic. The room was clean, tidy and well-equipped. It takes 3 mins to drive to the town so it's convenient and quiet. Definitely would stay here again if I visit the peninsula again.
