Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked each day with the choice of continental with yummy fresh fruit salad as an added bonus or a eggs, bacon and such. The lodge is not right in town center, but it's a short 15 walk to get to the cafes and restaurants. It's also within 10 to 1 hour drive to many awesome experiences and places. So you can see beautiful beaches and go surfing near by, do walking routes and explore cliffs, forrest and waterfalls or even a little city life in Whangarei.

This 4-star bed and breakfast offers private entrance. Heinz & Brita were the most gracious hosts. The room had everything we needed for our stay, very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was stunning! The Allegra House was a close walk to everything Paihia, and they have a cute little shortcut path down the hill. The breakfast & homemade bread was delicious ~ so much to choose from to start your day. We would definitely come back to Paihia & stay at the Allegra House again.
